Singapore Mosque

25 meter diameter dome
Grand Mosque, Bahrain

Inside View, Grand Mosque, Bahrain

Lightweight FRP domes substantially reduce the structural requirements and thus cost for building foundations

The universally acclaimed Grand Mosque dome in Bahrain, one of the largest FRP mosque domes in the world, is a true testimony to the skill and quality of BFG workmanship and to the versatility of composite materials.

The double-hemisphere, fire retardant dome has a simulated stone finish to match the artificial stone of the main building. It measures twenty-five meters in diameter and is thirty-two meters high.

A guarantee of thirty years has been undertaken by BFG, an indication of our confidence in our workmanship and the durability of glass-fiber reinforced plastics.
