BFG specializes in the design and
production of fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) and other composite moldings to a
designer's specifications virtually without restraint with regard to finish, color and
shape.
Having pioneered major improvements in material
engineering and durability, color retention, fire retarding characteristics and industrial
monitoring techniques, BFG has increased the number of critical and environmental
applications in which composites are now being used. Because of this, BFG is
internationally reputed as a pioneering and leading manufacturer of high quality FRP
custom moldings.
From initial discussions with the client
we can propose designs for any particular application, or we can work with the client and
advise on design criteria for such matters as moldability and suitability for the end use.
A fully computerized factory data
acquisition system is used to strictly monitor quality control to ensure that the highest
standard of finished product is obtained. This enables us to dispatch the products from
the factory, confident that dimensionally, structurally and aesthetically they are in
perfect condition.
BFG employs a comprehensive range of molding
processes, from open-contact molding, which is used for the majority of the world's
composites production, to state-of-the-art vacuum assisted resin injection.
