2012 - BFG International Awarded King Abdullah Railway
Station Roof System:
BFG
International, the leading supplier of composite architectural
products in the Gulf region, has been awarded the contract,
for the design, supply and installation of the roof system
for the King Abdullah railway station which is located
approximately 80 km west of Jeddah.
The work will comprise of approximately 34,400 square
meters of epoxy cored roof panels, with bronze colored
hexagonal stainless steel mosaic tiles with a bronze anodized
curved aluminum acoustic suspended ceiling. The roof system
will also incorporated more than 3,000 diamond shaped
skylights complete with fresnels and stainless steel cladding.

2012 - BFG and MVC Brazil Form Joint Venture:
MVC
Soluções em Plásticos and BFG International
have formed a joint venture located in São José
dos Pinhais. The new company will support the growth of
the passenger rail business and other transportation markets
for both companies. MVC belongs to the Artecola and Marcopolo
group of companies while BFG International is a privately
owned global composite manufacturer servicing the transportation,
infrastructure and energy marketss. Both companies are
backed by long term experience and technology aimed at
similar end use markets.
MVC employs over 550 professionals in two factories in
Brazil: one in São José dos Pinhais, State
of Paraná, and one in Catalão, State of
Goiás. In 2009, it acquired Poloplast Painéis,
the business unit responsible for manufacturing high performance
panels and the building system "Wall System".
Currently, it is recognized in the world market as one
of the most important companies in its sector.
BFG International currently employs over 2,400 personal

- BFG International Acquires TEMVAC:
BFG International
has completed the acquisition of TEMVAC Europe SL. TEMVAC
is a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of vacuum
toilet systems, based on innovation and eco-design requiring
low water consumption, reuse of wastewater, lower power
consumption, etc. The TEMVAC toilet systems are based
on a 20 year history of proven technology that has shown
to deliver long term reliability and performance.
BFG sees the integration of this vacuum system into its
passenger rail toilet business as an integral part of
delivering best in class solutions to its rail customers
around the globe. The addition of TEMVAC to BFG’s
global manufacturing capabilities allows it to offer complete
tested and certified toilet systems to any customer location.
