BFG Completes
Construction of Singapore Mosque Dome
BFG International has recently completed
construction of a double-skin dome for a three story mosque located in Singapore.
Commissioned by Singapore's Islamic Council, the eye catching blue dome measures eight
meters in diameter and was constructed in twelve segments. By bringing its detailed
engineering and design experience to bear, BFG has once again created a structure which is
not only aesthetically pleasing but also extremely durable and practically maintenance
free.
BFG Displays Viper
at IDEX 99
Voyager Marine, the
marine division of BFG International, conducted live demonstrations of the Viper 3300 SCM Fast Strike Craft at the IDEX 99
show, which was recently held in Abu Dhabi.
The Viper attracted a
large amount of attention as it offers extremely high performance with very low initial
investment and maintenance costs. Since the show, Voyager Marine have
received inquiries from the UAE Border and Frontier Guard who conducted a two week trial
of the Viper with
impressive results.
BFG Attends JEC Show in
Paris
BFG International with its European subsidiary, Composite Forms and Technologies,
participated in the 34th annual JEC Composites Show which was held in Paris, France, from
April 13-15. Tremendous interest was expressed in BFG's diverse range of industrial
products as well as the broad range of simulated architectural finishes and textures on
display. JEC was attended by over 14,000 people and included participants from over 150
countries.
BFG Delivers Taskmaster
to Royal Omani Police
Voyager Marine, the
marine division of BFG International, recently delivered a
custom-built 16-meter Taskmaster passenger
ferry to the Royal Omani Police. The Taskmaster, which carries up to 60 people in comfort, was designed,
built, and delivered in record time (20 weeks) at a fraction of the cost of the
competition. This follows the delivery by Voyager Marine to
Oman earlier this year of three PCH 3500 Long Range Fast Patrol Boats similar to the one delivered to
the US Navy Harbor Patrol Unit last year.
