Formed in 2006 to drive its expansion in the booming Chinese and Asian markets, BFG China has a workforce of 314 employees including 10 Quality Engineers and a 14-strong dedicated design team.
Today, the products fabricated by BFG in China include toilet modules and FRP interiors for China's High Speed Rail services as well as FRP interiors for Spanish and Australian railways, for clients including Alstom and Changchun Railway Vehicles. BFG also produces bus shelters for clients in Germany and France and automotive components for trucks, buses and fire engines. BFG China has achieved an International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) score of 73-76 points, putting it in the top 2.5% of China Railways suppliers.

BFG China uses leading edge technology to continually enhance its quality standards and efficiency. As well as operating company-wide bilingual Enterprise Resource Management, it introduced an electronic archive system for knowledge management in 2011, and in 2015 pioneered use of a mobile app to optimise enterprise and project management.
BFG's Chinese manufacturing hub is based in a 23,000 square metre site in the Helong Economic Development Zone near Changchun City.
BFG China is a JV between BFG International and CRGC China.
