BFG Africa factory had a formal opening on the 18 July 2019. The factory is in operation since April 2019. The new facility was leased in July 2018. The factory set-up involved installation and commissioning of machines & equipment.

BFG Africa Rail (Pty) Ltd has competence in the following areas of manufacturing; Open Contact Molding, Resin Transfer Molding, Adhesive Bonding, Painting, Assembly of FRP panels, SMC materials production, SMC molding using 1500 tons presses.
