BFG delivered 48,000m² of advanced external cladding for the 65,000-capacity main stadium at Basra Sports City in Iraq. The project included 288 double curvature FRP panels that form the dramatic exterior skin of the stadium.
The composite cladding system provided significant weight savings over traditional materials while achieving the complex curved geometry required by the architectural design.
