BFG designed and manufactured 34,000m² of complete structural FRP roofing for the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) station on the Haramain High Speed Railway. The system comprises 1,848 individual FRP roof panels forming the primary structural roof of the terminal building.
This is one of the world's largest applications of composite structural roofing, demonstrating the capability of FRP to serve as a primary load-bearing structure in a major transport facility.
