Plastic Omnium, France

BFG International has been working with Plastic Omnium since 2005 as a strategic supplier of high performance GRP parts, offering technologically advanced solutions at competitive prices. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, ATMC Industrie, produces GRP deflectors to fit around the driver cabs of Renault and Volvo trucks, and has delivered over 50,000 parts to date. The components are produced at its site in La Rochelle, France, and delivered to Renault’s site at Blainville, France, for final assembly.

A unique RTM press moulding technique, developed by ATMC Industrie and BFG International, is employed in the production of these parts. Resin is injected into heated moulds, which results in a superior quality of product over traditional RTM processes, and also allows for rapid production of large quantities. The latter offers a significant advantage, making BFG International’s production line highly reactive and able to respond to fluctuating demand by Plastic Omnium throughout the year. BFG International works in close coordination with its client to ensure adequate supply at all time. All parts comply with XXX fire safety regulations.
