BFG International took part in the first edition of the Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition, held from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir. Organised by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the GCC Secretariat General, the event brought together manufacturers from across the Gulf to celebrate what the region makes and exports.
BFG’s display stood on the main concourse, at the entrance to Hall 6. At its centre was a full-size high-speed train front end, made in Bahrain and travelling at up to 320 km/h. Beside it stood a rail toilet cabin, one of more than 10,000 that BFG has supplied to railways around the world.
Eight double-sided walls told the wider story, one sector on each wall: rolling stock, wind energy, architecture, the Grand Mosque ceiling in Makkah, the Jeddah Oceanarium, compact vacuum toilets, off-grid water recycling and Ilium Composites. Each wall carried the same message: made in Bahrain, installed across the world.
Visitors saw how a Bahraini factory supplies the world’s leading train builders, built the largest composite spinner ever made, cladded more than 1,000 landmarks from Geneva to Makkah, and develops new technologies in water and sanitation.
