BFG, as always, played a major role in representing the composites world, contributing on two key fronts: a dedicated exhibition booth showcasing its latest solutions and engineering capabilities, and a featured speaking session delivered by Dr. Samer Al-Jishi, titled Build to Perform: Realizing Architectural Vision with Composites in Saudi Arabia.
In his address, Dr. Al-Jishi explored how composite materials are unlocking new possibilities for architects, engineers, and developers across the Kingdom, enabling lighter, stronger, and more durable structures aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 ambitions for sustainable urban development and world-class infrastructure. He also addressed several long-standing misconceptions surrounding composites in architectural applications, challenging outdated perceptions of strength, fire performance, durability, and cost, and demonstrating how modern composite systems consistently meet, and often exceed, the standards demanded by today's most ambitious projects.
As the Expo drew to a close, one message echoed clearly: the future of construction and infrastructure is being shaped by composite and non-metallic materials, and BFG continues to stand at the forefront of that transformation.
