On 14 May 2026, BFG International had the honour of welcoming Their Excellencies Eng. Ebrahim bin Hasan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, and Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, on an official visit to the company's headquarters and main manufacturing facility in Mina Salman.
The Ministers were received by BFG's leadership and toured the production lines, including the advanced composite manufacturing area where the company produces its architectural cladding, pultruded profiles, and lightweight building systems for projects across the Gulf and beyond.
At the Octosan facility, the delegation received a full demonstration of the Octopi off-grid sanitation cabin, an ISO 30500-certified, self-contained toilet block with an on-board biological and electrochemical wastewater treatment system that converts blackwater into water suitable for flushing and irrigation, designed for sites without sewer infrastructure such as construction sites, public spaces, events, and remote operations. The delegation was also briefed on the Octosan Vacuum Toilet system, an ultra-low water-use toilet platform developed and manufactured in Bahrain.
At the CLADLITE™ showroom, Their Excellencies were briefed on the full range of CLADLITE™ architectural panel finishes and technical features, followed by a live demonstration of the new CLADLITE™ 3D Visualizer web application, which allows architects and developers to explore textures, panel sizes, and facade configurations in real time.
The visit underscored BFG's role as one of Bahrain's longest-established industrial manufacturers and a national contributor to the Kingdom's industrial diversification agenda, with three distinct technology lines, composite cladding, marine systems, and prop-tech tools, exported from Mina Salman to a global client base.
BFG extends its sincere appreciation to Their Excellencies for the visit and for the continued support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the country's industrial sector.
