BFG International participated as Exhibitor Partner at the 7th Rail & Metro Technology Conclave & Expo 2026, hosted by Rail Analysis India at Hall 11, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 22 to 24 July 2026. Across three energetic days at stall D-38, the team welcomed rail operators, OEMs, government officials and industry suppliers to explore how advanced composite materials are shaping the future of rail and metro transportation.
The conclave opened with a distinguished visit to the BFG booth by Sh. Praveen Kumar, Managing Director of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), accompanied by senior DFCCIL officials. Enriching discussions followed throughout the event with industry leaders and visionaries including Mr. J.K. Bhatt, former Additional General Manager, RITES; Dr. Deepak Tripathi, Director (Technical), RITES; and Smt. Mona Srivastava, former Chief Engineer, Northern Railway, alongside esteemed delegates from ICF, MCF, KMRL, DMRC and MMRC.
Conversations across the three days centred on the rapidly growing role of advanced composites in delivering rail interior solutions that are:
- Lightweight and durable
- Fire-safe and fully compliant with international standards
- Sustainable and eco-friendly
These qualities are key to enhancing the passenger experience, boosting operational efficiency and reducing overall lifecycle costs - priorities at the heart of India's expanding transit infrastructure.

The three-day conclave made one thing clear: building a world-class, energy-efficient rail network depends on strong OEM-supplier alignment and materials innovation. As India expands its transit infrastructure, integrating low-maintenance composites and localised supply chains will be critical to sustainable, long-term operational success.
